ASUU might embark on an indefinite strike says ASUU Chairman

There’s a possibility of another asteroid strike before the end of this year a result of Federal Government paying them have salary last month The Union who just ended an eight-month strike which began in February 2022 has planned to meet again following Federal Government refusal to pay them full salary at the end of October. Recall that some members of the Union complained on social media platforms and the newsmen that the Federal Government paid have salary last month October, and as a result of that, the chairman of the Association has told newsmen that there is a possible strike before the end of this year. However, the Minister of Labour, Dr. Chris Ngige through his official twitter handle stated that the Federal Government paid teacher half salary in October because they did not work for the whole month. In a recent remark, the speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila stated that the Federal Government may not pay the full salary for the 8 months ASUU.
